Molyar Resource Foundation proudly conferred the Himalayan Gaurav Samman at an International Seminar on “Sustainable Development in the Himalayas: A People-Centric Approach”, held on 21 December 2025 at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.
The award honors individuals whose exceptional work has significantly contributed to academia, environmental conservation, public health, journalism, and sustainable development.

Himalayan Gaurav Samman Awardees:
🔹 Prof. Prakash Chand Kandpal (ICCR Chair of Indian Studies, University of Southampton, UK) – For academic excellence, mentorship, and societal transformation.
🔹 Prof. Sabu Padmadas (Professor of Global Health & Demography, University of Southampton, UK) – For translating scientific research into impactful public health and sustainable development action. Award received by Dr. Ravi Prakash, JNU, on his behalf.

🔹 Dr. Harpal Singh Negi – Environmentalist recognized for his lifelong dedication to social transformation and sustainable development in the Garhwal Himalayas.
🔹 Shri Asheet Kunal (Editor-in-Chief & CEO, India Voice) – For outstanding contributions to Indian journalism and mass media. Award received by Shri Ajay Chauhan on his behalf.

🔹 Shri Chandan Singh Nayal – For pioneering efforts in environmental protection through plantation drives, water conservation, and forest fire prevention in Nainital district.
The event reaffirmed the collective commitment to people-centric and sustainable development in the Himalayan region.
